Rehabilitation of the existing Morrison Dam spillway radial gates and structure. Detailed scope included: Installation and removal of a temporary sheet piling cofferdam upstream, an Aquabloc cofferdam downstream, a wellpoint dewatering system adjacent to the spillway and dewatering of the stilling basin; Excavation and backfill of approximately 15,000 cubic meters of earthworks materials; Replacement of the existing manually operated radial gate hoists and refurbishment of the existing radial gates. Demolition and removal of approximately 700 cubic meters of reinforced concrete from the existing spillway; and Upgrades to the safety and security measures including provisions for access ladders, signage, floating boom and fencing.
